Pop Mustard is a brand of whole-seed mustard that originated as Old Brooklyn Mustards in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2024, the founder, cheesemaker Michael Januska, partnered with Celebrity Chef Michael Symon and rebranded the products as POP Mustards. Januska founded the Old Brooklyn Cheese Co. in Cleveland and began creating mustards to complement his artisanal cheeses. His award-winning whole-seed mustards became so popular that Januska and Symon decided to partner, focusing on the mustard business and rebranding it as POP Mustard. The "POP" refers to the texture and explosive flavor of the fermented whole mustard seeds. The mustards are still made in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland.
