Calabro's buffalo mozzarella is a fresh, soft cheese with a natural lactic culture imported from Italy. This gives the natural snowy white mozzarella a mild yet slightly sweet and sour taste. The texture is creamy, soft and moist.

Calabro's story begins in the mountains of Sicily, where the Calabro family turned fresh milk into their signature cheeses. In 1948, they left Sicily to start new lives in America. By 1953, the family had founded the Calabro brand, delivering cheese, sausage, and ice cream to Italian grocers and families in Connecticut. Today, Calabro has grown their operations, distributing their cheeses to 27 states in the US.
