Mitica is a brand of high-quality Mediterranean cheeses and specialty foods, launched in 2003 by the company Forever cheese. The story begins with two globetrotting food lovers, Michele Buster and Pierluigi Sini, who founded Forever Cheese in 1998 with a passion for discovering and sharing exceptional foods. The name "Mitica," which means "mythical" in Latin and other languages, was chosen to represent the legendary quality of the foods they import. Initially focused on Italian cheeses, the company expanded to include other specialties from Spain, Portugal, and Croatia.
